edamame are soybeans in shells or pods
ingredients: edamame, salt
instructions: 1. boil water(just enough to cover or slightly less, the steam will cook the edamame either way) 2. throw in edamame, cook for 2-5mins depending on how soft you want the soybeans 3. strain 4. put in bowl and sprinkle with little salt
it is a common appetizer in Japanese restaurants
