Zen Gardens is a Chinese Buddhist vegetarian restaurant chain. Most of their dishes are vegan and those that aren't are clearly marked. I've only been to the one in Mississauga, but they supposedly also have locations in Toronto, London, Cambridge, Guelph, Moncton and Quebec City.
This is probably my current favourite restaurant. They serve a lot of mock meats, mostly made from seitan, which are absolutely fabulous. They also have really neat vegetable dishes like the enoki mushroom balls that mimic popcorn shrimp. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed. The variety on the menu is really helpful for omnivores you might be bringing along, as eventually they'll find something they're willing to try out.
I sound like I'm writing a restaurant review, haha, but if you get the chance you should check it out!

Their location in Kensington Market in Toronto is easily accessible via the Spadina street car.
