I'm personally not a pro Walmart shopper because of some of the shady things they have done (specifically in the category of human rights), but not everyone can afford to shop at any grocery store they please.
I haven't spent much time looking at the vegan food here, but they do carry Yves. If you've never heard of Yves it's a vegan brand of fake meat products ranging from ground up meat, to cold cuts, to sausages. It's probably on the lower end of the gourmet vegan meat scale, but it's one of the more affordable ones that can be found almost everywhere. It still tastes good in my opinion and they always add lots of B12 and iron so it's rather healthy.
The Walmart I went to also carried a variety of tofu right on their Yves shelf.
If anyone knows of anything else we can buy here other than the fruits, veg and bread feel free to post. =)
