The China Study started in 1983 and was a collaborative study down between Cornell University, Oxford University, the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. It is the most comprehensive study on food, environment, social practices and disease ever done in China and some say in the world. It is important to us today because it shows that a plant protein diet (a vegan diet) is the healthiest option.
