Earthlings is the most accurate and detailed documentary I've ever seen that looks at how humans use other animals. I often describe it as absolutely horrible, but completely true. If you're not yet vegan I strongly encourage that you watch it just to be aware of the impact that your choices make. Much of the reason people use animals is because of how easy it is to forget that they are in fact living breathing individuals that can be in pain and do suffer from our choices. Not only is Earthlings informative but it helps us remember just exactly what we are paying for.
Earthlings is narrated by Joaquin Pheonix (who has been vegan since he was 3) and looks at how animals are used as pets, as food, for clothing, for entertainment and for experimentation.
